Finally :)

So, I have a new wonderous computer and I am back online! Here are a few new paintings, the first two from Domenic's Advanced Life Painting, one on a red ground, the other on a grey/burnt umber ground.  The last is from Yu Ji's Concentrated Studies class--he worked on it a lot, so I really can't take any credit...

Back to drawing bones now. Ciao!

Good to see you back! :)

Before I read the description, I was thinking that I really liked the last one -- but I bet you deserve more credit than you claim, too. :P

You updated. Awesome. Yea I like the 3rd one too, even though your teacher worked on it.

The first one has a good composition. The second one with the figure in shadow is so hard. Especially, it only has a small part of the body lit. I could never pull it off haha.
How is your process usually in painting?

thanks! Hm, usually I just do an underpainting in burnt umber, but we've been experimenting with a lot of different techniques like colored grounds glazing, and wet into wet. Now I don't know what I like! :P
